Melanie has been in the classroom since the fall of 2005. She has worked with students from 3K- grade 12 as an instructor, Athletic Director, and Curriculum Director. The experiences and her passion for providing quality Christian education have prepared her to fill her current role as Curriculum Director for FVL Schools. She regularly meets with the FVL Schools teachers to coordinate curricula that will ready our students for high school and for the education, military service, or employment that will follow.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

I currently serve as the Curriculum Coordinator and English Department Coordinator and Instructor at Fox Valley Lutheran High School. These roles build upon my love of learning and teaching that have helped to shape my career in education. Reading, researching, and testing educational best practices fascinates me.
I've also been blessed to serve not only at FVL but also Michigan Lutheran Seminary where I was Academic Dean and an English Professor for six years. Prior to these calls, I worked at private and charter non-WELS high schools in Florida.
