Q: Are FVL Schools able to compete in terms of technology?

A: Yes! Our schools offer technology training starting in elementary school. Many schools make use of SMART boards in the classroom, offer keyboarding classes, and integrate computer software training and application into their curriculum. FVL High School has also launched a STEM Academy that focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Q: Are foreign language classes offered at FVL Schools?

A: Many FVL Schools teach Spanish as a foreign language. Languages taught at FVLHS include Spanish, Latin, and German.

Q: Are FVL Schools accredited?

A: FVL Schools is part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod school system of 337 K-8 schools, 398 early childhood ministries, and 23 area Lutheran high schools preparing students for lives of Christian service. Our school system's central office, Commission on Lutheran Schools, is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Our teachers hold, at minimum, a bachelor of science degree in education from Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota, or another accredited college. Our teachers have professional improvement plans which encourage them to continue to be life-long learners in their profession.

Many of our FVL Schools have accreditation through the Wisconsin Lutheran Synod School Accreditation (WELSSA) and the National Council of Private School Accreditation. (NCPSA)

A: Many of our elementary schools and preschools offer after-school care.
